cappuccino syndrome strikes again

i am definitely no match against my writing partner.

with his background and experience in the field, he can write as much as 70% more of what i can call a day in done done finish. seated next to him, i'm an alien to this planet, a novice even at understanding how the world works.

i don't hate my job, just that sometimes i am thinking i'm on the wrong side of the fence. technical writing has always been my Waterloo; creative writing, literary criticism, and the essay are what i know best to deliver, but what the pen needs to go through, it must endure.

i do enjoy the challenge and i'm learning a lot, yet i wonder how long will my ink last for this one :-)

it's all a humbling experience and i can only pray about it.
