WELCOME!
You are in the online directory of pages where you can find significant information about Bicol Culture and Arts, along with resources for Bicol literature and music which are distinct from other ethnical groups, as well as a listing of the names of the forerunners and contemporary advocates who work to elevate the value of the local culture and language, not only through scholastic discussions and academic studies, but in the continuing practice of the language and pursuit of activities which perpetuate in the tradition of the old and embody the rich heritage of our ancestry.
WHAT'S IN THIS BLOG?
The blog fittingly contains posts written in the native language as it supports the campaign to perpetuate the use of Bicol in speaking and in writing. However, most of its content is written in the English language so that it may also be understood and be of use to people of other cultures who are interested in knowing about the Bicolano pride.
We feature three main pages which are our contribution in the collective efforts to assist in the revival of interest in Bicol literature and music from among today's generation and to help inculcate the pride of one's origin and cultural heritage in the midst of the pop-driven present:
